The ninth hole offers a definite scoring opportunity, but not without potential trouble. The tee is offset to the right of the fairway bringing the fairway bunkers into play unless a short tee shot is played to the left half of the fairway. An approach from there will be a mid-iron whereas an approach the skirts the right edge of bunkers leaves a short pitch. Most average to long hitters can beat the fairway bunkers with a good drive and/or a moderate breeze behind them.
