The sixth hole is a relatively short par five, but facing south it often meets with a head wind. The landing area off the tee is also rather narrow as bunkers hug both sides of the fairway. Long hitters can beat the bunkers on the right offering even better potential of arriving in two. The green is also well-protected not only by bunkers but by a slight elevevation making run-up shots nearly impossible. A full-shot approach is often desired on this hole. Water to the left off the tee can be in play on hooked or pulled tee shots.
